The blue pottery bowl on my dresser catches lots of odds and ends. I emptied them out this week. There's an IKEA pencil and some Canadian coins. There are lots of envelopes and little plastic bags of spare buttons. A cough drop. Some beads. A keycard for the Grosvenor Hotel near Victoria Station in London. A leather tag from a handbag. Coins and more coins.
It all qualifies as ephemera, dresser ephemera, that might lead to a really great story, or it might just be extra stuff from the corners of life.
