Migration

Geese and swans and other waterfowl are moving through the Thumb area as spring migration takes place. These geese were coming in for a landing when my camera caught them at touchdown.

The swans are such big birds that it seems a wonder that they can even fly. These photos of waterfowl in flooded fields were taken yesterday along Kinde Road, east of Kinde, where large flocks of swans could be seen feeding on the corn stubble.
